@Jexxxy In the US, for full time positions they rarely hire other than the fall. However, there is an unlikely possibility that if enough candidates don't accept, they may hire more people in the Spring. Side note: you used 3 x's in your pseudonym, and I thought twice about helping you.

As I am heading towards graduating in Sept 2012, I was unable to even land an interview with the Big 4 this fall. Just wondering, do they hire at times other than Fall 2011 for full time positions in Sept 2012, or do they fill their quota and basically shut down hiring until next Fall?

recruiters ask to upload my unofficial transcripts when applying. when will they ask for an official transcript? (or will they ever?)

So, I'm returning to school to get a BS in Accounting and I already have a BA in English. I've been in the work force for 3 years...but with several different employers (temp positions - think data entry, call center, admin. assist, food service). How much of this do I need to include on my resume?
I want them to see that I have work professional experience (I'm different than the crowd), but I don't want to seem flakey or that accounting was just a random path I chose.
Thanks!

@chrisbccanada: I would include the ones that would market your skills. However, if that leads to massive gaps in your resume from a continuity perspective: include the other jobs but don't elaborate too much on it.

@A Fellow Big 4 Prospect: I would include scholarships on there. The thing is most people haven't done anything notable when they are interviewing for first-year associate roles. Whatever makes you stand-out from the herd, include it.

@Angel, 2 hours is negligible... but I'm sure you can conceal that on your resume.

@Accounting Genius, whats your take on including a scholarship award from one of the big 4 on my resume?

also, I have been offered a position (volunteer) as 'treasurer' at both an Oxfam shop and a PETA branch;
will it look weird on my CV if I did both? would it be better for my CV if I tried to get a different role at one of the charities so I'd have some variety in my positions of responsibility, or is having two identical postions at two different charities ok?
